Jane Hamilton See Jane Run Communications was founded in 2001 by Jane Hamilton. With more than 20 years experience as a journalist and in public relations and marketing communications, she has held senior positions in private and public institutions. As the owner and principal of See Jane Run, Jane works with clients in a variety of profit and not-for-profit sectors, including the healthcare, education, government and industry sectors. In the early stages of her consulting career, Jane had a strong focus on patient advocacy and helped develop and manage a national patient advocacy coalition. She went on to grow a niche practice with independent schools and currently manages an association of 11 of the most highly acclaimed independent and private schools in the GTA. Winner of awards for special feature writing and team effectiveness, Jane applies her senior leadership skills in the management of See Jane Run’s network of proven writers, designers, web developers and associates. Jane holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Ryerson University, in Toronto, Ontario, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English from the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, and a Master of Arts in International Journalism from City University in London, UK. As a former journalist, she has a keen eye for both devising a story angle, and writing for specific media.
